Challenge round #6 - 19th-26th of October.

I'm posting this a bit early since I'll be at Oni-con this weekend, and I'm leaving tomorrow. ^^; I don't want to rush to post it before I leave, so the challenge officially starts tomorrow, but you get a preview of sorts for this round. I'll be back on Monday to respond to comments and such if I don't get a chance to go online during the weekend.

1. Themed: item + place

a) clay bowl + onsen
b) old magazine + Victorian house
c) rosary beads + cellar
d) red scarf + balcony
e) broken porcelain doll + church
f) rope + abandoned building
g) mirror + attic
h) knife + bedroom


2. AU: any band/artist

a) rivalries - Pit the band members against each other, i.e. give them jobs or allegiances on opposing sides. The split can be even, or two vs. three, or four vs. one, etc. but at least two rival groups must be present. It doesn't necessarily need to be bitter rivalry; it could be simply a competition or game, as long as it's AU in some form.

b) transported - This is something a bit different than usual, but it could be fun. Pick a band/artist and drop them into a different universe -- it must be an original or historical setting, not some other fandom's universe. The catch to this is the band should remain themselves (i.e. as musicians), so they'll suddenly find themselves far from home without any idea of where (or when) they are. XD For example, say Gazette suddenly found themselves 300 years in the future, or Kra were dropped into the Heian period of Japan.


3. Quote: any band/artist (the quote doesn't need to be included, but the fic should be based around it in some way)

4. Anonymous: Pick a pairing/band/artist and write something without naming names or using descriptors such as "the vocalist/bassist/etc." or mentioning hair color, height, and other obvious indicators. (Credit for this evil idea goes to kudakechiru_uso.)


5. Round Robin: Continue this round robin, or start your own.

Too many good ideas. XD I'd love to write the AU thing but the problem is that it would refuse to stay as a one-shot and I so can't do that within the time of the challenge. *pouts*

Oh, and a question about the anonymous thing. We can use the other man and things like that, right? And when posting it, is the point that others don't know the pairing and the band or can we write them down?

XD My "oneshot" isn't a oneshot anymore, since none of my alice nine fic ideas want to stay short. As long as you get the first part up by the end of the challenge week, it counts. ^^; And even if a challenge is "over" you can still write something for it.

And Shin/Nao is such a "canon" OTP. XD Lemme see what I can come up with for a fic, though I don't usually write fluff. ^^;
