Challenges ~ Round 4

May 13 through May 28 since it's already the 14th for many.

I'll take any kind of fic. Asian music RPF, other fanfic if that's what's got hold of your brain right now, original. (Anyone who pulled out some Kakashi/Iruka might be especially beloved in my sight.) But you know the Jrock etc. is our lifeblood, yo.


CHALLENGES.

1. May is the Merry Month of Masturbation. Please to be bringing the smut.
This may be entirely alone, with a partner (imagined or otherwise), with any number of people in the vicinity but ignorant/lending a hand elsewhere/watching/jerking off together, and any other actions along the way that appeal, as long as somewhere in there, there's someone getting themself off. (And this could degenerate into discussion of how all of getting off is done by the self anyway, but I'm looking for the more basic physical sort here, unless you have some great idea.)

2. Pick a member of a band, or a solo artist, and write at least a hundred words of a same-world AU where they aren't in the band due to choice or changed circumstance/didn't make it. The band may have made it (with someone else? how does this change their sound/chemistry?) and they may still know the band (or a member, whatever); up to you. This need not be angst at all! although I'm sure Mimei would appreciate it.

3. Drunkfic. Join in on the party post of d00m, if you like, or post it here/separately. Your options are:

• Get drunk and write whatever comes to mind, or
• Write something with drinking/drunk characters
• Or both.
• No drugs plz (for this challenge round's purposes only). I'll get too jealous since I can't.

4. Themed.

1. vanilla + headache
2. roof + crystal
3. bottle + light
4. drive + plastic
5. sand + bitterness

5. Write a self-insert and/or Mary Sue fic.

• Option A: Fic in which you are a character, whether major or minor or just part of the crowd. You may fictionalize your job, location, etc. within reason (this may take the form of placing it in the future/past *shrugs*). We do write RPF, after all... I like to pretend I'm a real person, how about you?
• Option B: Mary Sue you or a stock Mary Sue runs into/meets ____. No holds barred here, but keep in mind that humor and/or evilness are probably what will determine success. (Well, now I'm seeing something with the sad confessions of a real-life Mary Sue, but... you get the idea.)
• The options may be combined at your discretion, though I'd prefer not in the same character.

All the other options seem pretty interesting [although masturbation or any form of sex is my low low point :/] I hope i can actually enter this round since I'm now OVER WITH AP CRAP XDDDD

XD Well, it's an indulgence. Several of us really have met some of these guys that we write about, however briefly; and why shouldn't the others have that experience even if just in fic? XD Self-inserts are so often just thrown out as Mary Sues, which are bad... they don't have to be bad, just keeping a sense of reality. (in other words... basically a cameo, maybe a random figure to provoke thought, and definitely no sex. XD Unless it's Die, who apparently can't keep it in his pants with the hottie fangirls. But whatever.) Mary Sues, though, are a helluva lot of fun to scalp. XD So, the second option. I like my cracked out humorfic.
