Cliched? XD Well, I guess so, since it's 95% of the X fics out there and 99% of those are bad. All, hmmm, fifteen maybe? that I've found and read. -_-;; There needs to be more (good) X fic. Anyway, Yoshiki/hide is the only Jrock pairing that's got real, solid evidence, to me. Even Gackt/Hyde, well, he said "if Hyde were a woman" and things like that. *g* Not something like this (http://www.mognet.net/artisttranslation.php?id=233&translation=english)... and then there's all their lyrics that reference each other, Scars to Rusty Nail and White Poem I as the biggest example. It's kind of scary, actually. XD; And it's even scarier when you look at all the fic where they turn hide into a girl, Yoshiki into a total girl, make it all superficial drama and angst, make it all schmoopy-sweet and idiotic... okay, I like fluff. Not fluff that's based on unrecognizably bad characterization, though.
Anyway. Heh, the best X fic I've read wasn't yaoi at all. It's by seraphitus and is pretty good, even if the OC comes off badly at first. Second best was just posted on adultfanfiction.net... luckily I disagree in small ways with her characterization and events (it works fine for the story), or else I'd feel like I should just give up and stop writing X fic right here. o_o
Gackt/Hyde/Megumi would be awesome. I look forward very much to reading your Gackt fic!! Heh, and my roommate loves Rice... she's obsessed with Raphael, so that's extended naturally to Rice...
